SV TO BC: a great day of travel

May 1: Sun Valley Olympic Development Team (SVODT) started the drive from Ketchum, Idaho to Whistler, BC Canada (the site of the 2010 Winter Olympic Games) for the first on-snow camp of 2008-2009 ski year.

The weather has been ideal and the venue in excellent condition! The following is flip video of our travel up here. More to come from the camp soon! Check out fellow SVODT and ITA teammate, Nicole De Yong's web log for more video of the camp.

Great snow Jackson! It is cold most nights and the track stays solid until abourt 10:30am - sometimes longer! When it warms up, the classic is perfect, so it really isn't ever bad skiing. The now is pretty clean too. Everyone is on race skis for sure!
